The Art of Soap Making
Artisan soapmaker Evelyn Wool offers hands-on workshops that focus on cold-process soap making. Beginning with natural ingredients such as tallow or lard, goat milk, olive oil, coconut oil, learn how to safely create your own luxurious soaps at home. Participants receive a soap recipe, instructions, and gift box of soap.
Goat Yoga on the Farm
Goat Yoga is a unique farm experience combining the benefits of traditional yoga with animal therapy in a peaceful open-air farm setting. You can enjoy a guided Vin and Vinyasa class led by a certified yoga instructor surrounded by gentle, friendly dairy goats. Private sessions available for groups of ten or more.

Cheese Tastings

Learn how to make cold-process soap using tallow or lard, goat milk, and natural ingredients found in your kitchen, like, olive oil, coconut oil, essentinal oils, spices, and pumpkin. Take home recipe and instructions, plus bonus “limited edition” gift box of soap. After the workshop, walk around the farm, meet our animals, and spend some quality one-on-one time with our Nubian dairy goats.

Business owners on the 100 block of Smithfield, NC, United States, 27577 established a series of summer farmers markets, bringing local farms and artisans to downtown, including The Wool Family Farm. Find our beef and premium Mangalitsa pork, goat milk soap, and children’s books at this year’s Summer Market.
Activate Selma
We don’t complain, we take action!
Activate Selma is a group of residents, volunteers, and business owners in Selma, North Carolina, revitalizing and uplifting its beloved rail community and all it has to offer by supporting local entrepreneurs. The group meets every Wednesday at 9 am at different locations around town and periodically at our local farms.
Pace Family Farms
Taking Care of the Land & Taking Care of People
Pace Family Farms is a multi-generational farm growing vegetables, flowers and beef. The Pace family has several goals. First, they grow healthy and flavorful products for their customers. Second, they practice a method of farming called sustainable agriculture, using integrated pest management and minimal pesticides as cornerstones of their growing practices. Third, they cultivate a strong relationship between the customer and the farm by developing positive experiences for their guests.
