As former steakhouse restaurant owners, top-quality meats have always been a priority for us. The idea of raising our own beef and pork also came with a romantic vision:
Cows quietly munch grass. Pigs root in the forest. A glistening stream-fed pond stands in the middle, providing constant fresh cool water.
The sky is always blue and the grass is always green and plentiful.
Okay, that last part is out of our control, but our Angus, Galloway, Highland cows and Mangalitsa pigs enjoy their best life and provide healthier—and tastier—meats for our family and yours.

VARIETY BOXES
Beef and Pork Variety Boxes
Beef and pork variety boxes include a selection of individual cuts:
Beef Variety Box (~20 lbs)
- Selection of ground, stew, steaks, ribs, roasts, primal cuts
- Liver, fat, filet, and/or soup bones
Pork Variety Box (~25 lbs)
- Selection of sausage, ribs, chops, ham steaks, steaks
- Neck bones, tails, jowls, feet and/or fat
ANIMAL SHARES
Whole, Half, or Quarter Shares
Fill your freezer with a whole or partial cow or pig:
- We raise the animal and arrange processing
- You purchase the animal at market weight, pay processing fees and pick up boxed meat from the processor

Angus/Galloway/Highland Beef
Docile Cows with Healthier Beef
The Scottish Galloway is considered the most docile breed of cow. Our Galloway bull, Bobo, was also raised as a 4H project, making him even tamer. That’s good for us, but how is it good for you?
Healthier Grassfed/Grain Finished Beef
Galloway beef is higher in protein, minerals, and good omegas, while having lower saturated fat content. Highland beef is leaner and exceptionally well-suited to marginal pasture quality.
The combination of all three breeds produces leaner, yet still tender beef. Our cows stay on grass throughout growing and finishing.

Mangalitsa Pigs
The rare breed with curly fur and red, marbled meat
Rare-breed Mangalitsa pigs resemble sheep with their thick curly fur. Mangalitsa have smaller litters than commercial breeds and are slower growing. Sows are very good mothers and boars are gentle with piglets. Sows often raise their young together and will sometimes share nursing duties.
Mangalitsa Pork: The Other Red Meat
Unlike the mass-produced, super market pork chop, the Mangalitsa pork chop is tender, flavorful . . . and red! Get more variety for the barbecue: ham slices grill up like steaks, back steaks like ribeyes, and that whole bbq pig? Like nothing you’ve ever tasted.
Mangalitsa Lard: The Good-For-You Fat
Not only is Mangalitsa pork the tastiest, its fat is also the healthiest among other breeds:
- Highest quality fat
- Best ratio of unsaturated and saturated fats (heart healthy)
- Despite its generous marbling, Mangalitsa meat is lower in chloresteral
