Your small group will enjoy a private tour around The Wool Family Farm led by Evelyn or Robert Wool. Ride in style in our vintage tobacco trailer with comfotable seating for four to six adults. Small children may ride on laps.

Choose our Discovery Farm Tour for a one-hour leisurely ride around the farm with brief stops to meet animals.
Or, choose our Hands-on Farm Safari for a two-hour exploratory tour with extended stops to meet and feed animals.
Discovery Farm Tour
Imagine a Leisurely Wagon Ride Through the Countryside…
Picture yourself snuggled up with your closest friends in a cozy wagon as the John Deere tractor starts up, evoking memories of leisurely drives through the countryside when the interstates were lined with cornfields and rolling pastures.
Under a bright blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds, the gently bouncing wagon rolls along the edge of a seemingly empty field. Black, rust, and gold mounds rise, one by one—a parade of curly-furred pigs racing to catch up with the tractor.
As you disembark at a gate, the farmer hands you a bucket of peanuts. You toss handfuls over the fence and scratch a nose protruding through the gate, serenaded by a chorus of grunts.
Discovery Farm Tour
Enjoy an intimate ride in our vintage tobacco trailer. Travel a mile around the farm, along scenic pastures, ponds, and woodlands. Observe cows, pigs, horses, goats, and chickens peacefully napping, grazing, or pecking.
Your tour includes stops at each pasture gate, where our friendly animals will greet you.
One-hour Discovery Farm Tour. $15 per person.
Hands-on Farm Safari
Enjoy an intimate ride in a vintage tobacco trailer. Travel around the farm with extended stops at each pasture to get to know many of our friendly animals.
Learn how to introduce yourself to cows, pigs, donkeys, horses, goats, chickens and ducks. Enter some of the pastures and let the smaller animals get to know you. Horses, donkeys, and goats love up-close visitors.
During this leisurely tour, you may discover a few treasures, such as a duck feather, a chicken egg, or a caterpillar. Each time you visit is a chance for a whole new adventure!
Two-hour Hands-on Farm Safari. $25 per person.

End your tour with a visit to our Farm Market & Soap Shop. Take home gifts or souvenirs, such as:

After your guided tour, we invite you to spend extra time exploring the farm at your leisure, enjoying a picnic, fishing, or picking raspberries (June) or grapes (August–September).
