Gain a firm understanding of the entire soap-making process, including:

  • The definition of saponification, or the chemical reaction needed to create a solid bar of soap 
  • Ingredients needed for soap-making 
  • Safety measures, equipment, and materials required, including preparing the work area, preventing mishaps, and using the proper equipment and tools for weighing, heating, and mixing ingredients 
  • The properties of goat milk, various fats and oils, colorants, and scents, as well as their impact on the resulting soap’s properties
  • The benefits of using animal fats, along with information about beneficial vegetable oils
  • How to incorporate fresh foods, such as pureed pumpkin in soap making

You will receive a comprehensive list of safety tips and materials, together with a goat milk soap recipe and detailed instructions for creating your own nourishing bar of goat milk soap at home.
